Our team with strong tech skills is located in Mannheim (Germany) and Vila Real (Portugal). For our customers, we develop best in class intralogistics and IoT solutions. Our cloud first tech stack is built on Docker, Kubernetes and defined via Infrastructure-as-Code.  We build mobile apps in Capacitor and Vue.js, APIs via openAPI and code in Java as well as C#. You need a message queue? Kafka it is.

To help us do this ambitious work, we are looking for a:

Senior Software Developer - Cloud Services (m/f/d)

What type of work can you expect to do at Neoception?

• You will be responsible for bringing know-how on how to build reliable cloud services to the team and extend it continuously.
• You are part of developing complex cloud solutions based on technologies like Kubernetes, flux, C#/Java, Kafka and the like.
• You maintain the customer facing APIs of our solutions and keep them consistent.
• You are actively taking part in the implementation of our services and become the tech expert in you domain for the development team.
• You are enabling other team members to kick start with developing best in class cloud solutions and are guiding the team to do future proof decisions in your domain.
• You have a strong devops mindset to effectively leverage the customer value of our solutions.

You should have the following skills and qualifications:

• You have a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
• You already worked within the development of microservices architectures incorporating event based processes and streaming technologies.
• You are experienced in programming best practices and willing to work with C#, Java and JavaScript / TypeScript technologies.
• You are experienced with Docker and are familiar with infrastructure as a code technologies like Pulumi or Terraform.
• You are experienced with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or SAP Cloud.
• Would be nice if you have experience with Kafka, Kubernetes.
• Your written and spoken English is excellent.
