CURE Mannheim, a student club at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) in Mannheim, is dedicated to building an electric race car every year and then putting it to the test in international race events. Maren Klotz, currently Continuation Manager at Pepperl+Fuchs, was an active part of the team as a student during the 2021/2022 season. Health challenge – staying fit through the pandemic, together

“An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Okay, it takes a little more than that to be truly healthy and fit. That’s why a team at Pepperl+Fuchs in Twinsburg, Ohio, is responsible for health-related matters concerning employees at the Pepperl+Fuchs locations in the United States and Canada. As one initiative, an eight-week health challenge was launched in the summer of 2020, despite the changed working conditions due to the pandemic. We caught up with Laretha, Project Manager and Human Resources Generalist in Twinsburg, to talk about how it went.

Shaping the future in a new city

A year and a half ago, Alex moved from the Pepperl+Fuchs location in Twinsburg, Ohio, to Katy, Texas. In his role as a new member of the growing Solution Engineering Centers (SECs) team, Alex, an engineer, now works in the role of Order Unit Manager. A rather different environment: Experiences of working from home
