Let’s get moving! Get on your Pepperl+Fuchs running shirt, lace up your running shoes, and bring along plenty of enthusiasm and energy. Pepperl+Fuchs employees showed their physical fitness at the BAUHAUS corporate run in Mannheim in late June.
At the eighth BAUHAUS Mannheim corporate run, held on June 21, the focus was on sport, team spirit, and music. The motto this time was “Running and celebrating together,” and this year’s unique corporate event drew nearly 4,000 enthusiastic participants from 265 companies. A live band and DJ got participants and spectators warmed up before the run itself, and then the runners took to the starting line in the vast courtyard of Mannheim’s famed Baroque palace at 6 p.m. Cheered on by a crowd of colleagues, 44 employees from the Pepperl+Fuchs headquarters in Mannheim gave their all on the 5-kilometer course, which took them along a stretch of the Rhine and then through the grid-like city center. The team spirit was palpable. The runners were accompanied by music along the way, with a samba band and a mobile DJ ensuring a festive atmosphere.

As they finished, the runners were greeted by applause and a medal. All 44 members of the P+F Athletic Team finished with excellent times. “The atmosphere was awesome, and everyone really got into it,” says Wolfgang Stegmüller, one of the team members of the P+F Athletic team in Mannheim, who participated in the run. “Once we reached the finish line, everyone came together for the after-run party, with cold drinks and great live music to finish off the evening.”
