Our company has been operating in Hungary since 1997 as a member of the international Pepperl+Fuchs group. At our Veszprém site, nearly 400 employees are engaged in the production and sale of plastic parts and cable assemblies.
We are looking for a dedicated employee to strengthening our engineering team in Veszprém for the following position:
Process Engineer
tasks
- Cooperation on projects to introduce and improve products and production processes.
- Participation in the preparation of sample production and process evaluation plans in collaboration with the project manager.
- Participation in the definition of manufacturing process requirements.
- Developing the manufacturing process for a given product.
- Participation in the creation of the process qualification plan.
- Definition and documentation of the target parameters of the process, as well as warning and intervention limits.
- Development of Production Documentation and Work Instructions.
- Project planning and new acquisition and transfer of manufacturing equipment in cooperation with the project team.
- Active support for prototypes at the start-up stage and independent implementation where necessary.
- Identifying improvement opportunities in product and process design and participating in their implementation.
- Monitoring production in the start-up phase.
- Participation in projects for the introduction/optimization of production technology.
- Training and further education of employees regarding the processing of technical projects, production processes and technological backgrounds.
expectations
- Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering or a similar discipline with a focus on manufacturing technology
- Several years of experience in the impact of manufacturing processes on the product
- Project management skills, knowledge of effective project management methods
- Knowledge of industry specific manufacturing processes
- Communication level (written and spoken) English
- Structured, compliant documentation management
- MS Office skills
