Regional Facilities Manager

Role Purpose:

This role is a key driver for all facilities and related projects across Southeast Asia (SEA), with an extended scope into a few countries within Asia. Besides offering leadership to SEA facilities operations, the role also works closely with Senior Management to provide an effective and efficient work environment in terms of building infrastructure.

Role Accountabilities:

• Provide leadership to local facility managers across SEA and be responsible for maintenance of facilities and ensuring operating requirements, building codes and safety regulations are met
• Oversee the daily business continuity, infrastructure reliability, and emergency preparedness across all regional facilities
• Transform business and production requirements into optimized technical facility layouts and infrastructure improvements
• Monitor all refurbishment projects (brown field) of high-value within the region - ensuring cost control, compliance, and timely execution
• Drive regional projects which involves new facility planning, assessments and setup. Act as the key driver and coordinator of greenfield developments and counterpart for all external parties
• Monitor all EHS processes in the region and ensure a safe work environment for all
• Responsibility for FM/EHS budget and its allocation within the region
• Oversee the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion
• Liaise with managers and executives to develop and implement maintenance strategies that will align with the organization's current and future business plans. Ensuring maintenance activities are carried out and recreation programs are in place
• Drive energy optimization initiatives and ensuring alignment with global sustainability goals and execution
• Travel as required across regional sites to conduct audits, oversee projects, and engage with key stakeholders

Role Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in one or more of the following areas: Civil Engineering; Architecture; Construction Project Management; Facility Management; Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
• Detailed and general knowledge in all fields of construction, refurbishment, M&E equipment, building maintenance and EHS
• A minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in an international manufacturing environment. Experience in setting up new facilities is highly regarded
• Business fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Extensive project management skills leading a team of internal and external counterparts
• A team player with excellent communication skills, great problem solving attitude and a lateral thinker
