(Senior) Data Analyst, Commercial Systems

Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Commercial Systems Manager (based in Germany HQ) within the Controlling Department, the successful person will:
- Help build and scale our data analytics and visualization capabilities for global Commercial Systems stakeholders
- Focuses on transforming data into actionable insights using Tableau and supporting scalable, efficient data workflows using tools such as Alteryx or Tableau Prep
- Contribute to ongoing development and support of our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform
Role Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable insights and scalable data solutions
- Active support of the smooth operation of all established Commercial Systems processes and systems
- Ensure stable operations and enhancements of Commercial Systems analytics platforms (Tableau, Alteryx, Infor EPM platform)
- Design and develop compelling, interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Infor EPM
- Prepare, clean, and integrate data using tools like Alteryx, Tableau Prep, or Infor EPM
- Automate manual data flows within commercial departments and promote data-driven process improvements. Deliver ad-hoc and scheduled reporting solutions that demonstrate both value and future potential. Collaborate in cross-functional initiatives to improve and optimize global data processes
- Help design and maintain data marts and internal analytics environments to support ongoing reporting and analytics needs
- Acquire skill to architect solutions with data & analytics technologies
Collaboration in the evaluation and implementation of Commercial Systems software and initiatives
Role Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in (Business) Information Technology, Data Science, or Business Administration with a focus on data analytics
- Demonstrated several years (3-5 years) of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence roles
- Proven experience with Tableau, including a portfolio of work (e.g. via Tableau Public)
- Business fluent or native-language English (written and spoken)
- Hands-on experience with data preparation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau Prep, or similar ETL platforms
- Excellent problem-solving, data modeling, and analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, resourceful, self-motivated, meticulous and a strong sense of responsibility
- Enthusiastic about continuous learning, change, and challenging the status quo
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; capable of working across global, cross-functional teams
- High level of self-motivation, accountability, and the ability to manage tasks independently under pressure
