Technical Application Support Specialist (m/f/d) – Division: Process Automation

Your Tasks:

• You will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance as well as in supporting our clients.
• Your responsibilities will include advising and assisting customers on all technical matters within our business area
• Clarifying technical inquiries, and devising tailored solutions for a defined product range will also be part of your daily business.
• Furthermore, you will be accountable for conducting technical assessments of inquiries, collaborating closely with our commercial team to process offers, coordinating customer complaints, and providing support in commercial matters when required.
• Your technical expertise will extend to supporting the field sales team and conducting product training sessions for colleagues.
• Additionally, you will participate in customer visits, ensuring excellent customer care, and actively contribute to company and product presentations.
• Monitoring market trends and competitors and actively participating in new customer acquisition efforts will also be part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
• Proven experience in sales, with a strong background in automation technology
• Solid knowledge of measurement and control technology
• Strong affinity for digital technologies and tools is desirable
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and digital communication tools
• Strong negotiation and organizational skills, along with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Fluency in German is mandatory; good English skills are required due to our international focus, and knowledge of French is desirable for your work in the Swiss market.
