Bachelor of Engineering | Electrical Engineering

Specializing in Automation

GENERAL OVERVIEW

As a student on the Electrical Engineering dual study program, you will learn how to develop, control, and check electrotechnical or automation processes, installations, and systems. In the course of your Automation studies, you will gain basic knowledge of electrical engineering, as well as specialist expertise in the field of automation, such as automation systems and industrial bus systems, control systems, sensor and actuator systems, digital systems, and computer technology in the field of automation.
During your practical phases, you will not only have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the key technical departments at Pepperl+Fuchs, but also gain insight into all related processes at an industrial enterprise - starting with production of a sensor and stretching all the way up to the technical support on the customer's premises. You will be deployed in various specialist departments, such as R&D, Quality Management, Sales, Production or Human Resources, where you will learn on the job how production procedures are automated.
